Challenge Friday – Hits New Heights

Posted on: March 28, 2014

KS4 Students at Walsall Studio School start each Friday morning with a challenge or competition.  The idea of  Darren Perry, Assistant Principal, “Challenge Friday” has become a weekly highlight for students and staff alike.

“Staff take it in turn each week to bring a challenge or competition to the students.  We started with making tower structures out of marshmallows, we have seen students building tent structures out of newspapers, making parachutes for eggs before launching them from the second floor balcony… but today thanks to Mr Joe Karchud and Walsall Council’s Reach-up Tower we have seen Challenge Friday reach new heights” commented Mr Perry.
